Many people today are supplementing their belief systems by looking to the wisdom of the ancients – in practices such as yoga and meditation.
The demands of our everyday lives constantly pull at us, taking us away from who and what we believe we truly are. To explore ourselves and what we have come here to learn takes time - alone with yourself and your body. The journey home, to our true selves takes courage and faith.
We are all energy beings moving at a certain vibration. All things are created of energy and have their own, distinct vibration. This is why different vibrations affect us e.g. colour and music. Form is a less obvious, but very powerful, vibrational energy which can be explored physically through exercise, or vicariously, through art and the sacred geometries.
The human form has an intrinsic beauty. Each stage of the experience that we know of as humanity has its own exquisite grace. Placing the human form into particular postures has great healing and calming effects – stimulating and balancing our energy centres.
With appreciation and gratitude of this truth, our artist has explored the relationship between yoga and chakra energy, creating some beautiful pieces we believe greatly affect the environment in which they are placed.
Many levels of energy have been explored in this series of pieces. The particular energy of numbers brings yet another dimensional quality. The collection is arranged into seven series. The seven major chakras are represented, each with four figures (two male and two female). The resonance of the number seven, which harmonises heaven and earth, together with the number four of our seasons, chimes a timbre not only through the collection as a whole, but also echoes into each individual piece.
We know that you will enjoy the serene beauty, fluidity, tension and peaceful stillness inherent in these works and they will encourage time spent “satsang”.
